24 degrees outside and a beautiful view. Running is so much easier when you do it along the coast. If this was in Sweden the beach would have been crowded of people ha ha.
24 grader utomhus och en fantastisk utsikt. Det är så mycket enklare att springa längs med kusten. Om det här var en strand i Sverige skulle den varit full av människor ha ha.
Since Tilda isn´t a big fan of running I had to compromise. So we are running half the way and walking the rest (in a brisk speed). Surprisingly I got sore muscles after our first (very long and very fast) walk. Thought that was impossible!!
Eftersom Tilda inte är så förtjust i att springa så har jag fått kompromissa. Så numera springer vi halva vägen och går halva (i snabb takt!). Överraskande nog fick jag träningsvärk efter vår första promenad. Trodde det var omöjligt eftersom jag springer regelbundet. Troligen för att jag använder andra muskler när jag går (eller så får jag inse att jag numera är otränat…..)
Summer is definitely on it’s way and even if it still is a bit cold in the mornings (which I think is perfect for my morning runs) it gets up to 28 degrees during the days.
So yesterday I bought some things to pimp our balcony with. To late I realized that I bought almost everything in pink. Don’t know if that will get approved… But it´s to late now 🙂 Sorry.
I have found the best running app, Endomondo. Perfect when you want to challenge yourself. After your run you receive data in distance, average and max speed per km. During your run you also receive updates every km to let you know how far you have been running and your current speed per km.

City to Surf, WA’s biggest community sporting event which more than 45,000 people took part in. The event has raised more than $671, 223 for Western Australian charities and it has courses spanning from the 4km walk/run to the 42km marathon. Since I have been sick and had not been running for over three weeks I have to admit that I was a bit proud of myself being able to run the 12 km without a single stop (but I wont mention the time….)
Katie and I have decided to sign up for the next event, Freo Fun Run 16th of September. 10km run and this time we will train a bit harder before.
Went to bed really late yesterday but I had my girls over and we had so much fun. Thought I would be sleeping in this morning but after six hours of sleep I woke up full of energy. Bought new running shoes yesterday and decided to take them for a first run. They were worth the money, best running shoes I’ve had so far.
Now its time for a birthday party!
